Inside The Operation

Report from FBR Customs Enforcement Wing detailed how Noshki’s Field Enforcement Unit (FEU) acted on a tip regarding a narcotics smuggling and highway robbery. Noshki’s FEU stopped a suspicious vehicle from Taftan. FBR officers found dozens of crystal (meth) ice boxes hidden in a modified vehicle fuel tank compartment. .

The tainted cargo was accompanied by 2 men who failed to show legal authorization, involving Babul and Amin Baloch from Kech District, who were arrested. An official First Information Report (FIR) has been registered, and broader network research is being conducted.

The severly impacted seized contraband has a projected international value of 18.67 billion rupees, estimating this to be in the top 5 magnitude drug seizures in Pakistan.
Catching these criminals shows the continued success of the government efforts to tackle drug trafficking, illegal currency trade, and cross-border tax evasion.

“It proves that our answer to drug trafficking is unyielding,” said the FBR representative, “Our teams are relentless in targeting illegal cross-border trade networks.”
